YouTube & Sony High Def Video. I am sold hook line and sinker on High-Def YouTube videos. Since 2006 all the video's we filmed were in high Def but uploaded in DV format. We have hundreds of hours of high def video from Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico and North America. We use Sony equipment exclusevly, the latest Handy-cam is the Sony HDR mHC9, a single chip tape camcorder, editing is on a Sony VGN AR290 G laptop and we are using Vagas Pro 9.0 editing software. The only downside to High def is that it takes 1 hour to render 1 minute of edited video, so for a 3 1/2 minute video the computer is tied up for approx. 3 1/2 hours.
